Volunteer Information
We are honored that you
are interested in helping the Native American people help
themselves.
Native American Celebration
is a non-profit organization, and is organized almost entirely
by volunteers who give of their time and resources tirelessly
in support of our
mission. We invite you to assist us this year in helping
everyone embrace our theme, "Walking Together."
Volunteers are needed during
vendor setup Sunday, July 23rd from noon to 6 p.m. and during
the Celebration on July 24th from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Volunteers
are required to be physically fit, bring your own water and
work a miniumum of 3 - 4 hours. Please select an area that
you would like to volunteer for and fill-out the questions
below. Please be advised that NACIP will review total number
of volunteers and distribute volunteers among each area.
Volunteer Areas:
Intertribal Powwow: Admission, Grounds Security, sound
system, helping the Arena Director, etc.
Arts & Crafts Booths: Booth Assignments, Setup
Assistance, Cleanup, Inspection, hourly inspection, electrical,
etc.
Children's Corner: Hourly Crafts demonstration, children
monitoring, cleanup, etc.
Security: Help us ensure a safe Celebration
Pageant: Pageant setup, Hosting contestants, etc.
Cleanup: Assist with cleanup so that Liberty Park allows
us to return next year
Entertainment Stage: Stage assistance, sound system
assistance, cleanup, entertainment assistance, schedule and
coordiantion, etc.
